PUBLIC NOTICE STREET CLOSURE & SEWER PROJECT REPAIRS
Please be advised that a portion of Main Street will be closed beginning September 1 for approximately 2–3 days while
sewer project repairs are completed. 🚧 Closure Information Closure: Main Street from Colonial Street to Clay
Street Beginning: September 1 Expected Duration: Approximately 2–3 days Truck Traffic: No trucks will be permitted on Main Street during the closure. Truck Detour: Trucks should use Armstrong as the alternate route. 🏠 Resident Access Residents who live within the affected area will have access from the Clay Street side. There will be no access from Colonial Street during the closure. 🏪 Downtown Businesses Remain Accessible Downtown businesses will remain open and accessible during the construction period. Customers are encouraged to continue supporting local businesses while repairs are underway. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this important sewer project is completed. The Rogersville City Offices will be closed on Monday September 7th, 2026 for Labor Day. The garbage pickup will be picked on Tuesday September 8th, 2026. Please have the garbage out by 7:00 a.m.
The Rogersville Tn Board Meetings will be Tuesday September 8th, 2026 starting with the Park Board 6:00 p.m., Water Dept. 6:30 p.m. and the B.M.A. Meeting 7:00 p.m.
